Sustainable architecture is the need of the hour due to climate change and global warming. We have  outstripped our resources due to human activities and consumption patterns resulting in degradation of our environment and endangerment of other species.

The features that can be incorporated in sustainable architecture in solar passive architecture, renewable energy systems, alternative materials and low embodied materials, waste and water management, energy efficient systems, native landscaping, etc. a few examples are shown in the following figures.
